Tarkan was born close to
Frankfurt in 1972. Even before he got back to Turkey with his family at the age
of 15 to study classical music, he was, like every other Turkish boy,
circumcised. "I don't make no bones about it. Of course I am, too!" he smiles
self-confidently and naturally.
When it comes to live performances he knows how to play with his smile and his harmonic dance moves.
Not just females but a lot of gay fans are totally thrilled.
His latest album "Ölürüm San" has been sold about 3
million times. It should be mentioned that no Turkish singer has ever been that
successful all through Europe.

Above that his English-speaking publication "You
sexy thing" with Rapper Mousse T is still planned for the end of '99 if he
doesn't have to do the military service for the Turkish Government. Even if
